According to the operation of the electronic information manufacturing industry from January to May of 2017 released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the production of the electronic components industry continued to maintain a steady growth, of which integrated circuits increased by 25.1% year-on-year.
Specifically, the production of the electronic components industry remained stable. From January to May, 16,075 billion electronic components were produced, a year-on-year increase of 14.9%. The export delivery value increased by 11.8% year-on-year, with an increase of 10.7% in May.
The production of the electronic device industry maintained rapid growth. From January to May, 599 billion integrated circuits were produced, a year-on-year increase of 25.1%. Export delivery value increased by 13.3% year-on-year, of which May increased by 10.0%.
